The Rolling Stones finally played Glastonbury, and by all accounts, fans got “satisfaction”.

The Glastonbury Festival in rural Somerset, England has been around for 43 years; the Rolling Stones for 51.  Saturday was the first time the two music icons got together.

Rock’s legendary Zoomers performed for two hours, with Mick Jagger leading the band through their classics, starting with Jumpin’ Jack Flash and ending with You Can’t Always Get What You Want, before a crowd-pleasing encore with Satisfaction.

Michael Eavis, who organizes and hosts the festival and its 100-thousand or so fans on his farm property, says the Stones were Glastonbury’s best-ever headliners.
